Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Public Safety is the protection of life and property on the university campus. We provide professional service to the university community through our core values of public safety and service, integrity and campus oriented problem solving. We perform our mission through diligent crime prevention, disaster preparedness, professional law enforcement, and problem-oriented policing. We strive daily to live by our department motto, "Campus Safety through Service."
