Looking for a better way to get to campus? You’ve come to the right place. It’s nice to share, and when you share the ride everyone benefits; your community, the environment, your car, and your wallet! CSUSB Commuter Services is here to help you get started.
Our program works hard to reduce traffic congestion and increase mobility throughout campus. We encourage alternate modes of transportation and reward eligible participants with our various incentive programs. We offer free exclusive CSUSB carpool matching, vanpool coordination, additional transportation information, a Guaranteed Ride Home program and much, much more.

CSUSB GoSmart Bus Program
CSU, San Bernardino has contracted with Omnitrans to fund FREE rides on both Omnitrans bus service and the sbX for students, faculty and staff. Riders must have the newest Coyote One Card (with a black & blue strip on back). Omnitrans consists of 27 convenient fixed-routes, providing safe, dependable, and environmentally friendly transportation throughout the San Bernardino Valley, covering 15 cities and portions of the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. Shuttle Service from Palm Desert Campus to the San Bernardino Campus Extended through Spring 2015
CSUSB is excited to announce that free, weekday shuttle service which began in Fall 2014 will be extended through Spring 2015! This pilot program, is intended to assist students with enhanced access to the campus programs and services provided at both campuses.
Each shuttle bus can transport 18 passengers at a time. The program is open to all CSUSB students, faculty, and staff. All riders will be required to show a valid CoyoteOne Card and sign a release waiver each time they ride. A copy of the waiver is available here.
The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the following locations:
- Palm Desert Campus: Turnout between the Indian Wells Center and the Health Science Building.
- San Bernardino Campus: Turnout between Parking Lot D and the Commons.
